Dr. Dana Bleifer is the owner and a general practitioner with
a special interest in reproduction. She attended the University
of California at Davis for both undergraduate studies and post-graduate
Veterinary school. She pursued post-graduate studies at the University
of Agricultural Sciences, in Upsala, Sweden and the University
of Georgia. Dr. Bleifer raises and shows her own Chesapeake Bay
Retrievers and Holsteiner horses.
Dr. Terrie Johnson is a general practitioner with
a special interest in reproduction. She earned her Doctorate of
Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis.
Dr. Johnson breeds Golden Retrievers that she shows in conformation
and handles in agility and field trials. She is consistently
incorporating holistic medicine into veterinary practice.
Dr. Shalein Bonney
earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
at Colorado State University, where she also earned a Bachelor
of Science in Equine Reproduction and Microbiology. Her
special interests are canine reproduction and the giant breeds.
Dr. Bonney breeds and shows Great Danes.
Dr.
Kamaryn Casey is a general practitioner with a special interest
in reproduction who came to Rose City in June 2008. She attended
UC Santa Barbara where she received her BS in Zoology. She
then went to Veterinary School at Western University of Health
Sciences in California. Dr. Casey enjoys traveling and outdoor
activities such as hiking, scuba diving, fishing, and flying
trapeze. She has a retriever/shepherd mix named Otis.

Jessica has been with Rose City since December 2008. In her spare
time Jessica enjoys going to the beach, and taking her dog and
bearded dragon to the park. She also enjoys going to the gym.
When she is not at work, she spends as much time as possible
with her reptiles. Jessica has 2 snakes, 40 geckos, 2 bearded
dragons and 1 Argentine Black & White Tegu. She also has a
pit bull/lab mix named Brinn and 3 cats - Calamity, Belle and
Kennedy.

Annette is our Head RVT. She earned an AS in Animal Health Technologies
at Mt. San Antonio College, and has been at Rose City since
the hospital opened in 2002. Annette raises and shows Chesapeake
Bay Retrievers. In her spare time, she teaches agility and
obedience training, and also spends as much time working in
her garden as possible.
Mya has
been a technician since 2001 and earned her RVT license in 2009. She has worked
at Rose City since May 2005. She has 2 cats, Phoebe and Al, and two tiger salamanders,
Mr. Bing and Joey. Mya also loves dogs! French Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, English
Bulldogs, and pugs are her favorites. Mya likes sea turtles, but her absolute
favorite animal is the Maine Coon Cat. When not at Rose City, Mya enjoys horseback
riding, fishing, and swimming.

Dani is our Head Reproduction Technician. Dani has worked with
animals since she was 15, having volunteered at Pasadena Humane
Society and other Veterinary Hospitals. She has been with Rose
City since December 2004. Dani has no pets of her own, but
her favorite dog breed is Greyhound.
Apryl has been at Rose City since 2003. Apryl attended Mt. San
Antonio College’s RVT program. She raises and shows Golden
Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She also has
two cats, Snickers and Peanut. In her spare time, Apryl likes
to shop, sew, and garden. She also loves Disneyland. Apryl
would love to have a Koala Bear!

Dr. Arlene Gillo is an acupuncturist who graduated summa
cum laude from Emperor’s
College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2000. Arlene is also
certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is certified as a canine
massage therapist.
Dr. Strickland has a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland
Chiropractic College-Los Angeles where he is also an assistant
professor. He has been working with animals holistically since
the inception of Rose City Veterinary Hospital.
Margaret is a California state board Registered Veterinary Technician,
who has worked in the veterinary field for over ten years.
She completed advanced training and is certified in Canine
Rehabilitation Therapy from the University of Tennessee’s
CCRP program.
Her special interest is working with animals
with paralysis and end of life care. She lives with
her husband, Jeff, and a menagerie of rescued animals.
Terry began
working at Rose City in May 2008. She has a Rottweiler named
Chilly, and Trekker, a Border Collie. She also has several cats
(Sid Vicious, Stevie, Pinto Bean, etc…). In her spare
time, Terry is involved in dog training and obedience competitions.
In addition to dogs, Terry also loves horses.

Velcro
is our Rose City Veterinary Hospital mascot. As official greeter
he may have the most important job here.
