Stud Services
How it Works
Shipping bitches or stud dogs can not only be a costly and frustrating process but can cause stress to the bitch or stud which can affect reproductive cycle or semen quality. Using chilled or frozen semen makes it possible to successfully breed your bitch to a stud anywhere in the country or even around the world. Rose City Veterinary Hospital is a full-service canine semen bank with freezing, storing and shipping services. Frozen semen also makes it possible to breed dogs long beyond their lifetime.
Once frozen, semen can be stored indefinitely in liquid nitrogen. Storage tanks require no electricity and are therefore not affected by power outages. We can ship semen in a small liquid nitrogen tank via FedEx to locations all over the world.
Thank you for choosing Rose City Veterinary Hospital. We hope that our web site can assist you in answering some common questions regarding semen freezing requirements.
Rose City Veterinary Hospital offers convenient online forms to fill out for the domestic shipment of both chilled and frozen canine semen.
